When it comes to helping one another Marietta shop owners are like a family, and a recent benefit shows just how far that help can go.
Becky Johnston had to close her shop, the Black Sheep, when she learned she had lip cancer.
With no money coming in, paying doctor bills is nearly impossible. So to help out, many other shop owners hosted a concert and auction benefit over the weekend.
Organizers of the event say hundreds of people attended the event, and they raised about $14,000 to $15,000 for Becky and her family.
