After a grilling week of pushing pencils and using lots of brain power, students are having some post Westest fun.
Students at Madison Elementary spent Monday's gym class on an air-filled playground.
The inflatable equipment was a reward for the children's hard work on last week's Westest.
Students say they felt well prepared for the many math, science, social studies and language arts questions, and now they're just ready to have some fun.
"It replaced our gym so we still got to exercise and all and play with our friends. It's something we never get to do, so it's just like a special reward," Jack Johnson, a student, said.
The Westest evaluates classroom knowledge of 3rd through 11th grade students in West Virginia.
