It was a busy Tuesday at the Washington County fairgrounds, as Monsanto Mobile unit came to Marietta. The company was in town showcasing their high definition theater and interacting learning centers.

The company has been traveling around the country for the past two years working to educate farmers on how to grow crops efficiently and become more profitable.

"If you think about farming, Monsanto is a company committed to sustainable agriculture," says Gary Barton, a Monsanto AG Educator. "We see the possibility by the year 2030, and that's 20 years from now, to double corn yields."

Barton says the Monsanto will continue to travel in the mobile unit and reach as many people as possible to help them be stronger, more profitable farmers.
