Bond has been set for the two people arrested during a Marietta meth bust Thursday morning.

David Rexroad and Tricia McGee remain in the Washington County Jail in lieu of a $35,000 bond each.

Jail officials say they're charged with complicity and trafficking in drugs.

Two people are in jail facing drug charges as authorities continue to investigate a meth bust.

33-year-old David Rexroad and 30-year-old Tricia McGee were arrested Thursday morning at their Grove Street home in Marietta.

Major Mark Warden with the Washington County Sheriff's Department says they received information about a week ago of a methamphetamine lab in the area.

When searching the home, Warden says officers found evidence of a meth lab in the basement as well as in the trash outside.

"In the process of going through that he exposed one of the chemicals that was used to manufacture it and it had a reaction within that trash pile, and it actually caught fire," Warden said.

He says dangers like that is why they really crack down on meth labs.

Rexroad and McGee remain in the Washington County Jail and will be arraigned sometime Thursday.
