If you're craving something sweet and want to get your daily dose of vegetables at the same time, you may want to try out this weekend's Sweet Corn Festival.
Each year, the festival seems to grow right along with the corn, so farmers have been especially busy this year.
All the corn comes from Witten Farms, which last year donated 5 - 6,000 ears.
The Witten family says it takes a lot of hard work to prepare for the event, but that it's all worth it when they see the festival's success.
"Everybody was just very complimentary. It's nice to work hard and something and have folks appreciate it," Tom Witten said.
"The community of Marietta and all Southeastern Ohio; they've been very supportive of us. We just kind of look at this as a way to give back to the community," Scott Witten said.
The festival runs from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday, and again Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
