A New Richmond, Ohio family made its way through the area Monday on an ambitious mission to help the Disabled American Veterans.
The Millers' are water skiing their way from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Cairo, Illinois. That's the entire length of the Ohio River, and the family plans to ski all 981 miles in six days.
We caught up with the Millers' as they stopped for some free fuel at the Blennerhassett Yacht Club.
The two brothers say it's fun, tiring and most importantly; feels good to support those who have sacrificed for America's freedom.
"They are just a worthy cause and they deserve all the support, and they're overlooked a lot," Brandon Miller said.
"If they haven't sacrificed what they have we wouldn't be able to ski on this river today," Mark Anthony Miller said.
The family says it isn't setting any financial goals because they don't want to set any limitations.
They say they just want to raise as much money and awareness for the DAV as possible.
