For young kids, going to the hospital can be a scary situation.
But one local biker group made sure they had someone special with them to get through the experience.
The local Chapter A-3 of the Goldwing Road Riders held it's 20th annual fundraiser for the Marietta Area Teddy Bear Fund Saturday morning.
Bikers made their way to Hometown Honda accepting any donations to the fund.
They then drove their motorcycles through the Germantown area along with the communities of Dalzell and Stanleyville.
The bikers also payed a visit to Marietta Memorial Hospital.
"It's really very fulfilling to know that you're helping a child. I mean, who could resist helping a child? And I know that these bears, even though they are given for children and held for children, as Anna says you know, there's no age limit to children," says Goldwing Road Riders Chapter Director, Dee Ayers.
All proceeds will help the Goldwing Road Riders purchase hypoallergenic teddy bears for kids at area hospitals.
The Marietta Area Teddy Bear Fund is still taking donations for kids at area hospitals.
