A three car collision caused the traffic on both lanes to back up on Route 14 in Boaz Thursday afternoon.
Williamstown Volunteer Fire Captain, Paul Jordan, says they responded to a rear end collision resulting in three cars crashing into one another.
One female driver was transported to Marietta Memorial Hospital.
She was treated and released.
The others involved in the crash only had minor injuries.
West Virginia State Police, Wood County Sheriff's Office and Williamstown Volunteer Fire Department were there assisting the accident.
"Well, Route 14 or Williams Highway here in the Boaz area is very dangerous highway. We see multiple accidents here over and over and over again from rear end collisions to head ons. It's a very dangerous section road and the speed always plays a factor and people not paying attention," says Captain Jordan.
The collision is still under investigation.
