Do you remember what the world was like 25 years ago?
The congregation at North Parkersburg Baptist Church got a reminder Wednesday morning.
They were in a time capsule buried outside the church in 1988.
Inside was what was then state-of-the-art technology - cassette and VHS tapes.
It will be buried again with a few reminders of 2013.
"I know 25 years ago, they mainly put in activities of that period of time," says Susie Meredith, Pastoral Care Coordinator. "I would think we would do the same in planning for the future."
Also buried a quarter-century ago - a sermon from then-pastor Conrad Lowe, a budget and an outline for what were then the church's future plans.
