An early afternoon accident backs up traffic along Route 14 in Boaz.
The slippery conditions caused the wreck. It happened a little before 11:00 Friday morning on Route 14 in Boaz.
Police say the two cars collided causing one to slide and almost fall off a cliff.
The man driving the truck was treated on scene for minor injuries.
The woman driving the other car was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
