An accident just north of Nelsonville on the new section of Route 33 closes both Westbound lanes.
Dispatch with the Ohio State Highway Patrol say the accident did cause injuries but they are not life threatening.
No information was available on how many cars were involved or what caused the crash.
Both Westbound lanes of the new Route 33 are closed due to the accident.
