It's the largest river cruise steamboat in the world and it's coming to Marietta.
The American Queen will be docking this summer along the Mairetta shore. It brings visitors from all over the United States. The ship travels from Cincinnati to Pittsburgh up the river, stopping in Marietta.
Casey Knowlton at the Marietta Visitor's Bureau says this is always an exciting event for the community. New this year, they are working with partnering with The Wilds, so passengers on the ship can see even more of the area.
"It's fun for the American Queen to be coming because it's part of our river history, and it gives us a chance to open up our doors, and our store fronts to these visitors and a great number of people to show what Marietta has," said Casey Knowlton, Marietta Convention and Visitors Bureau
The American Queen will be docking this summer on July 30th, August 8th and 12th.
