They made the power at the turn of the 20th century.
The Mid-Ohio Valley Antique Engine Festival ended today in Waverly. People got a good look at history while enjoying bluegrass and good food.
160 antique engines, tools, lanterns, and tractor whistles were on display, dating back to the 1910's and 20's. Gospel singers Wills Creek provided the sound for the crowd.
"We had over 165 different varieties of antique engines here this year. Each year it's always gone up a major of at least five to ten percent and a number of antique engines coming in," said David Marquis, Secretary and Treasurer of the Lions Club.
After eight years, this is the first time the Lions Club combined the two festivals.
