Drivers headed to West Virginia from Ohio on route 50 had more than just the rain to deal with.
An overturned truck closed the oncoming lanes all day long.
The semi flipped mid-morning in the eastbound on-ramp.
What caused the semi to flip isn't known, and the Ohio Highway Patrol says the driver was hurt and taken to Camden Clark Medical Center. His name and condition isn't known.
The ramps to the bridge leading into West Virginia closed until just before 6:00 Tuesday night, when they were re-opened to traffic.
Due to a tractor trailer rollover, the U.S. Route 50 ramps to West Virginia are CLOSED. Traffic is still flowing from WV to Ohio. The closed ramps include the following:
U.S. 50 EB ramp to Blennerhassett Bridge
SR 339 to U.S. 50 Blennerhassett Bridge
U.S. 50 WB entrance ramp to Blennerhassett Bridge.
