UPDATE: Man Sentenced for City Perk Robberies

A man who robbed two video lottery businesses learns his fate in court.

Jonathan Rager is sentenced to 5 to 18 years in prison for robbery.

The sentence runs consecutive with a robbery conviction in Raleigh County and time remaining on a 2008 Wood County robbery conviction.

Rager was on probation when he robbed the City Perks on 7th Street and Emerson Avenue in March.

Parkersburg Police say Jonathan Rager is the main suspect in two video lottery robberies.

Parkersburg Police say the same suspect hit another City Perk Cafe. This time on the 3600 block of Emerson Avenue.

The suspect once again demanded money for an employee. He got away with unknown amounts of cash and fled the scene.

We're getting our first look at the man who investigators say pulled off a local robbery Monday night.

Parkersburg Police say a man walked into the River City Perk Cafe on the southside of town, handing a note to a clerk, demanding money.

The suspect noted that he had a gun.

He then ended up getting away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Witnesses say he's about 5'7".

Parkersburg police respond to an armed robbery at a video lottery spot.

It happened around 11 o'clock Monday night at the River City Perk on Seventh Street.
Police say an unknown black man was buzzed in, at which time he handed the employee a note demanding money and stating he was armed.
The suspect did get away with undisclosed amount of money.
Police are investigating surveillance video.

Witnesses describe the suspect as a black man, 35 to 45 years old, wearing glasses, approximately 5' 7" and bald.
