Sheriff Pat Kelly says Monday night, around 6:00, a 52-year old Guysville man called the crisis center and said he had a weapon and if law enforcement came, he would force deputies to kill him.

A Sheriff's Lieutenant negotiated with the man for three hours.

Authorities were eventually able to subdue the man near his front porch and take him into custody.

No firearms were found inside his home.

No other details are being released at this time.
