An Oak Hill, West Virginia man is arrested in St. Marys, charged with kidnapping a 13-year-old girl.

West Virginia State Police say Josh Taylor was arrested without incident Monday afternoon in St. Marys.

He's accused of taking off with 13-year-old Gabby Messer Saturday evening.

Our sources tell us Messer was found safe.

The search for Taylor started Sunday, when his car was found on Middle Island in St. Marys.

He was on foot Monday when authorities found him.

The search is on in Pleasants County for a man officials say ran away with a young girl.

According to one source, Josh Taylor, a gym teacher from Oak Hill, West Virginia, took off with 13-year-old Gabby Messer, also of Oak Hill Saturday evening.

Media outlets report Messer has been found but the search continues for Taylor.

His car was reportedly found in Parkersburg but officials are saying cell phone records track Taylor to Pleasants County, where authorities are looking for him.

WTAP was unable to reach Pleasants County or Fayette County authorities for comment.

The West Virginia State Police would not provide any information.

WTAP has a call into all involved investigating agencies.
