According to Wood County Deputy George, the driver Howard Crouch was found walking in the area and arrested for leaving the scene and trespassing on railroad property.
A train collided with a pick-up truck at just before 12:30 a.m. Friday morning.

The Waverly Fire Department and Wood County Sheriff's Department rushed to the scene at the intersection of 4th Street in Waverly off of Route 2.

When officials arrived they found the truck smashed and pushed off the track and no driver inside.

Police say there are no injuries from the wreck, but an arrest has been made.

Wood County Dispatch could not confirm who was arrested, but say it is "likely" to be the male drive of that pick up truck.

Authorities are not sure how fast the train was traveling at the time of the crash but can confirm there were no hazardous materials on board.
