Sportman's Park in Elizabeth was site for a special event Saturday morning where dogs weren't just included but encouraged.
The Relay For Life of Wirt County held the first ever Bark For Life.
It's a fundraiser for lifesaving research and services for cancer patients.
A few laps around the park with man's best friend is all it takes to help save lives.
The West Virginia K-9 Unit was also there.
"It's a great event because we never had one, this is our first annual event and we're excited because it gives a chance to honor our loved ones, you know our four-legged loved ones," says Bark For Life Co-Coordinator, April Murray.
The Relay For Life of Wirt County collected over $900 in donations.
