Beverly Christmas Parade: A True Family Tradition

By  |

Communities around the valley are putting on a Christmas parade of their own.

Showing the true meaning of the holidays.

The Christmas parade extravaganza continues Sunday.

This time, it was Beverly's turn to show off their holiday spirit.

"The kids and I, we always like to see the lights that are lit up and go to the park afterwards and see the park lit up afterwards," says Melissa Antill.

"It's Christmas, it's cold right now and it just brings happier and enjoyment to everybody," said Olivia Cary.

"It's family oriented and you get to see all of like the live nativity that comes through you know and each of the community things like churches and the banks and stuff, all have their floats decorated you know," replied Vicki Pugh.

"It's really a family tradition. I think a lot of families like us like to start this off with our Christmas and see everybody we get together with and meet up and meet up at the park. Kind of like a little town, big family," says Antill.

"It's a great small community, a great time for a small community to get together with a big heart and show the real meaning of Christmas and to celebrate with family and friends," added Antill.

For those of you who missed out on Beverly's parade, there's still time to go and enjoy the holiday excitement.

Parkersburg's Christmas parade is Saturday, December 8th at 1:30 pm.

Vienna's is the same day, starting at 11:00 am.

And St. Marys Christmas parade is this Saturday, December 1st at 7:30 pm.
