They've hit a high note at Blennerhassett Middle School and it's all thanks to your help!
They participated in NBC's Smash Make A Musical contest and asked you to vote them into to the top 10.
The school's Junior Thespian Director Doug Parks says they found out Monday that Blennerhassett Middle School finished 7th.
That means that nationally recognized master theater teachers will come to the school in the fall to teach workshops for both students and educators.
Those classes will help them produce and perform the school's first ever musical from Broadway's junior musical collection for the community.
Parks says they owe it all to the community and he's grateful for your support.
Blennerhassett Middle School is just a couple clicks away from the NBC "Smash" Make A Musical program.
The school learned Wednesday they are one of 30 semi-finalists in the running.
In May the 10 schools with the most votes will be selected to receive a Broadway Junior Show kit, along with master classes, and of course funding for their theater programs.
Doug Parks, Director of the Blennerhassett Junior Thespian Troupe, says this would give the group another opportunity to bring theater into the community.
He says they don't get a budget from the county, so anything they do they must provide the funding themselves.
Voting is going on now and ends on May 4th.
