Baptist Temple Church Celebrates Faith Through Music.

It's the third annual Bluegrass Sunday.

The Mountain State Bluegrass Express lit up the stage at the morning service.

Members of the church say this was a great way to inspire passion and faith.

"It's...one of the easiest ways to get in the spirit and in the mood, and it brings camaraderie, and fellowship in the church. Plus, it changes things up. When we have a Bluegrass Sunday, it appeals to a lot of people... It gives us all exposure to something different," said Tom Florence, a member of the congregation.

After the morning service wrapped up, the congregation moved to City Park.

Donna and Company hit the stage at 2 p.m., followed by Lester Morgan and Family in the evening.

These are professional-grade musicians, but most of them are actually members of the church.
