Bodies of Three Missing Ohioans Found

Mount Vernon, Ohio (AP) -- An official in rural central Ohio where a mother, her young son and a family friend disappeared more than a week ago say bodies have been found in the area.

Knox County coroner Jennifer Ogle told the Mount Vernon News on Thursday that bodies were found, but the report does not say whether it's the bodies of the three who have been missing since Nov. 10.

The mother's 13-year-old daughter, who also disappeared, was found bound and gagged in the basement of a house about 10 miles from their home Saturday. A 30-year-old unemployed man who spent six years in a Colorado prison is charged with kidnapping the girl.

The Knox County Sheriff has scheduled a news conference for Thursday afternoon.
