Bowling for a Cure

The Rage Hair Salon and West Virginia Central Credit Union are uniting against a common enemy. Cancer.

The Relay for Life team spent the day raising money hoping to reach their $5,000 goal before the main event.

Bowling teams of four signed up for a small price to help a good cause.
And for those not interested in hitting pins there was a silent auction.

It's a cause many support, but for one organizer this year is very different.

"It's important for me because I had cancer last February so it has a little bit different meaning for me from the prior years when we did have teams together," says The Rage Hair Salon Owner Melissa Weaver.

You can still purchase a t-shirt at either business.
