It took up to four firetrucks and 15 people to help extinguish a brush fire in Wirt County Friday evening.
Elizabeth-Wirt Volunteer Fire Department responded to the flames on Wilson Fork Road.
Firefighters had to wait for the fire to extinguish itself.
No word on where the fire was started.
Fire Chief, Stephen Settle, says the flames were at the same location as the brush fire from last year.
"This is our second brush fire today, the other one was a very small fire less than 100 square feet, we got it extinguish very quickly. So right now, we're just patiently waiting for this to come up toward the roads," says Settle.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the West Virginia Division of Forestry.
