The Mid-Ohio Valley Transit Authority is awaiting board approval for a sale of its maintenance garage on First street in Parkersburg.
It's near the authority's former offices, which moved to Juliana street in 2004.
The board's attorney, Andrew Woofter, says the only concern about the property is the presence of underground fuel storage tanks.
Woofter says the authority has discussed with the Department of Environmental Protection a potential chemical release, but adds there are no specific environmental concerns.
The property was put up for sale in October, and the authority has had one offer, but no contract has been signed.
The transit board's next meeting is December 27th.
