Camden Clark unveiled its new outpatient diagnostic center on the southside at a ribbon cutting ceremony with hospital officials and leaders from around the valley.
Bobbi Ward, administrative director at the lab at Camden Clark says the center is a longtime need several years in the making.
She says it will serve those patients on the southside, particularly Mineral Wells and surrounding areas who need medical testing but don't want to drive downtown or are uncomfortable with going to the hospital.
“We're going to be offering phlebotomy services so that anybody that has outpatient laboratory work can actually come here and get that drawn,” Ward says. “Then the blood will be sent to the main lab on the Memorial Campus for testing; also for radiology we're going to be offering x-rays, ultrasound and cat scan services.”
Ward says appointments for CT scans and ultrasound exams must be made through your doctor.
The center is located at 2838 Pike Street and open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
