CCMC Celebrates 25 Year Partnership in Education

A local hospital is being recognized for its long standing partnership with Jefferson Elementary School.

In March, during the Partners in Education Annual Luncheon, the partnership between Camden Clark Medical Center and the school was noted as the longest surviving original business-school partnership in Wood County.

For it's 25th anniversary, the students at Jefferson sent dozens of thank you cards to the hospital's staff.

"Jefferson just welcomed Wharton Cadillac to our family also and Camden Clark was gracious to open their arms to Wharton. So, now we have a partnership with them also. Our Jefferson family is growing and that's very exciting," says Christie Willis, Principal of Jefferson Elementary School.

Principal Willis says CCMC sponsors the school's "Caught Being Good" program which rewards students for following behavior policies.

The winning students enter into a drawing and can win a T-shirt every Friday, which Willis says gets the students excited as well.
