The ceremony helps families honor their loved ones and caregivers during the holiday season.
Monday night the Saint Joseph Campus lit up with Christmas joy as they lit the trees for the season.
The Camden Clark Foundation hosts the event and reads off each name and places a luminary around the building.
The foundation asks for a $20 donation to display a luminary in honor or memory of a loved one.
Donations benefit the Camden Clark Diabetes Education and Wellness Fund.
"We receive tributes all year long generally in memory of someone, occasionally in honorarium, but it seemed like the perfect time to really recognize the people that we've been able to take care of as a hospital family and our physician family. And also if you're in the hospital this time of year the luminaries and the trees and the music all make for a better stay in the hospital and a better way to spend time if you have to be at the hospital during the holiday season," Camden Clark Foundation Executive Director Kim Couch.
The luminary dedication and tree lighting at the Memorial Campus is this Wednesday, December 5th at 6 p.m.
