In Little Hocking, folks turned out to wave the flag and celebrate the fourth.
It's all part of their volunteer fire department's 50th annual Fourth of July Celebration.
The parade began at little Hocking Elementary School.
Many kids and parents came out to see the fire trucks and various floats.
And of course the kids got to collect as many candy as they can.
"It's an exciting time. Last year, we wasn't able to have it because of the storm that we'd had. We had a lot of people call and wanting to know if we were going to be able to reschedule. It's a kind of like a homecoming for people in Little Hocking, they all meet, enjoy the evening and the music," says Little Hocking Fire Chief, Mike Chevalier.
Despite not having a fireworks display this year, the fire department will have live entertainment and games for the kids.
