The Wood County Commission is considering what to do with the building which used to house the sheriff's offices.
Commissioners Monday had a look at the building at the corner of Second and Avery Streets.
Ideas they're considering include a new headquarters for the coroner's office, and housing offices for the maintenance department.
It has been used for storage since the sheriff's office moved into the new justice center at the beginning of 2012.
It also once housed the magistrate court.
