UPDATE: Woman Dies From Injuries In Crash

A Little Hocking woman is dead Friday after a car accident on Thursday. Police say they don't know what caused her to drive off the road.

The accident happened just before 7:00 Thursday night on Route 50 near mile post seven in Little Hocking.

Police say 27 year old Brittany Dicken was driving westbound when she drove off the left side of the road, into the grass, then unto the eastbound lane. She over corrected, rolled into the median and was ejected from the car.

She was taken to Camden Clark Medical Center and pronounced dead Friday.

Police say she wasn't wearing a seat belt and her Chevy Trailblazer sustained heavy damage.

There were no other cars involved and alcohol is not suspected.

The crash remains under investigation, but if you saw it happen, police are encouraging you to call the Ohio State Highway Patrol at 740-374-6616.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 27 year old Brittany Dicken was traveling westbound on U.S. 50 in Little Hocking when she drove off the left side of the road, into the grass and into the eastbound lane.

She then over corrected, rolled into the median and was ejected from the car.

It happened just before 7 last night near mile post 7.

The patrol says she wasn't wearing her seat belt and the vehicle sustained heavy damage.

There were no other cars involved and alcohol is not suspected.

The crash remains under investigation.
