The date for Parkersburg High's first official home football game is quickly approaching, but will Stadium Field be ready?

Officials say everything is on track for the September 20th start.

Crews are working around the clock to meet the deadline.

While the stadium still won't be completely done by September 20th, all necessary work to pass fire codes should be done.

Construction on handrails is a main hurdle, but officials say they have a temporary plan in place if the permanent handrails aren't ready in time.

Fundraising efforts by the stadium committee are still well under way.

Officials say the bingo this past weekend brought in more than $5,000.

But the committee itself has a $600,000 loan to pay back and needs help.
