UPDATE: Frozen Sprinklers Flood Marietta Apartments

The extreme cold is causing problems for several families in Marietta

Frozen sprinklers flooded several apartments late Tuesday afternoon.

It all happened around 4:45 at the apartment complex at 736 Greene St. in Marietta, where a water leak was caused by the frozen sprinklers.

Three apartments are severely affected.

Residents were asked to evacuate.

Multiple families are being forced to look elsewhere for shelter for the night.

The Red Cross is coming in to help them.

Crews are responding to a water leak at at Marietta apartment.

The leak is at apartment 15 at 736 Greene Street.
