A dangerous drug is making its way into the area.
It's called "krokodil" and its showing up in Athens, home to Ohio University.
Athens County Sheriff Pat Kelly says the synthetic drug is so dangerous that he's promising not to press charges against people if they'll just turn it in.
The drug is much like heroin and can cause brain damage and side effects that include scaly, greenish skin.
The drug is made by mixing codeine tablets with household chemicals and gasoline, paint thinner or lighter fluid.
