Hundreds laced up their shoes today to show their appreciation to our veterans.
It's the second annual walk for vets put on by Attorney Jan Dils. Rain clouds held off long enough for the event to take over city park with young and old gathering to remember the sacrifices made for freedom.
One resident says the Mid Ohio Valley community helps make veterans feel appreciated.
Proceeds from the walk will be donated locally to the Parkersburg American Legion, the Disabled American Veterans, and The Veterans of foreign wars
