A man is in the hospital tonight after what police believe to be an accidental shooting in Williamstown.

26-year-old Donald Wilson is listed in good condition tonight. Around 2:30 Monday morning Wood County Deputies were called to the Kellar Lane home after calls of a shooting.

Wilson was shot in the stomach.

While the investigation continues, initial reports show it was possibly an accidental, self inflicted gun shot wound.

Detectives currently believe Wilson was outside when it happened and others were inside the house.

The Sheriff's Office does say drug paraphernalia was found inside. Deputies also note they have been called to the house for complaints multiple times and Wilson had been arrested in the last few weeks .

The investigation continues.
