An annual donation that makes all the difference in the lives of those at the Ewing School in Marietta.

The Elks Lodge made that gift for the last nine years to help make a difference.

The Elks gave $3,000 Monday to the Ewing School and Rehabilitation Center to help with extra costs.

The Elks Lodge does a lot of charitable projects and really enjoys helping these kids.

"We really depend on this money every year to buy the things our funding won't cover. They progress so much more rapidly when they have the proper equipment," says Susan Tilton, superintendent of the school.

The money is used to buy equipment for the children, including standers and strollers to take them out into the community.

Also what's called gate trainers, helping some learn to walk.
