Orange barrels and cones aren't just for summer anymore.
They're popping-up like pumpkins this fall.
Regardless of the season, they cause the same traffic headaches.
The reasons we've been given for the late construction season this year range from good weather to the availability of materials to when contracts were awarded.
"Four of those were actually let in spring or summer, but some of them didn't start until later," says Rusty Roten, West Virginia Division of Highways District 3 Engineer. "The fifth job was just awarded this month; that's an intersection job up in Vienna."
The work is cranking on both sides of the river.
Farson Street in Belpre and now along Main Street in Belpre.
