The Athens Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single vehicle fatal crash in Ames Township Saturday morning.
Officers say earlier Saturday morning, a 2002 Toyota Tundra was driving eastbound on State Route 550 when it went off the left side of the road and overturned.
The driver, 33-year-old Jason W. Sharp of Glouster, was ejected from the car and wasn't wearing a seat belt . Sharp was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
State Route 550 was closed for approximately three hours.
Troopers remind motorists to utilize all vehicle safety equipment while driving.
The crash is still under investigation.
