Grand Central Mall teamed up with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in the fight against Childhood Cancer Saturday morning.
The mall put on the first ever Connect with Kids Walk.
Kids got to do various activities such as arts and crafts, getting their face painted and receiving balloons.
Everyone in attendance walked around the mall supporting the lifesaving mission of St. Jude, one of the world's premier pediatric cancer research centers.
"The reason that we decided to partner up with St. Jude is because of the tremendous amount of impact they have on childhood cancer research. 10, 20, 30 years ago, the survival rates were not where they are today and St. Jude is mostly to thank for that," says Grand Central Mall Marketing Director, Katrina Stephens.
Grand Central Mall will match donations raised up to $500 with all proceeds going to St. Jude.
