Parkersburg's youngest art lovers gathered Monday for a whole lot of fun.
Boys and girls are acting, singing and dancing the next two weeks at the 32nd annual Fine Arts Day Camp.
The Mid-Ohio Valley Ballet Company is hosting camp for children between ages 5 and 12.
The kids are learning dance moves, working with arts and crafts and developing acting skills.
Organizers say it's great to see a new generation supporting the arts.
"My objective is to keep the arts alive. There's a famous saying that without arts, 'it is the measure of a civilization's humanity and without it we will all fade away.' Men cannot live by work alone," says Suzy Gunter, Director of the Mid-Ohio Valley Ballet Company.
This week's activities run through Thursday and another round of camp starts next week.
Children can attend one or both weeks.
