Fingerprint results lead to a man's arrest for a burglary that happened nearly five months ago.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office says fingerprints from a late April burglary scene belong to, 29-year-old Brandon Walters.
Investigators say the Marietta Man admitted to entering his mother's house, breaking into a safe, and then stealing $1,800 from it.
Investigators also say Walters is believed to be involved in a half dozen other breaking and enterings and burglaries. They say his shoes matched the footprints from two other crime scenes as well.
Walters is currently at the Washington County Jail charged with burglary.
