Saturday was the perfect day to end fire prevention week.
Hundreds gathered along a parade route showing support for their local fire departments. Fire and EMS departments all around the valley come together for this annual event.
Throughout the week, they encouraged people to think fire safety, and many will remember their message as they meet some local heroes.
The parade started at the Williamstown City Park, went all the way across the Williamstown-Marietta bridge, up Green Street to Front Street and ended at Muskingum Park.
All along the way young and old were happy to show their support.
