The River City Farmers Market gave back to their customers in a big way Saturday morning.
The fourth annual Customers Appreciation Day gives thanks to a community constantly showing support for the market.
In April they rallied around vendors after a devastating fire destroyed the farmer's market building and thousands of dollars worth of goods inside.
Saturday, vendors sold meats, fruits and vegetables.
It's a great way to celebrate both the community's help and the fourth of July weekend.
"A lot of our customers are just like family, they're here every week and we really appreciate everything that they done for us and I just feel that we should give back. We like to help out other communities with food drives and for the animal shelter," says River City Farmer's Market Event Director, Tammy Hughlett.
No word on when a new farmer's market building is going to be complete.
People can still come out the River City Farmer's Market every Saturday at the Washington County Fairgrounds from 8am to 1pm.
