It was another early Saturday morning for runners and walkers in Marietta.
This time it was the Ohio River Sternwheel Festival hosting its fourth annual 5K Run and Walk.
Over 250 participants came out to East Muskingum Park in support of the Sternwheel Festival set to take place in September.
The festival committee hopes to raise at least $3,000 from the event.
"It's a good time of the year, it is a healthy thing to do. We, along with Marietta Memorial Health Systems and Sports Med have decided to have something very healthy at a good time of the year especially at the Memorial Day weekend, it's a fun thing, a family thing," says Evy Bryant of the Ohio River Sternwheel Festival Committee.
The Sternwheel Festival will run September 6th through the 8th at the Ohio River Levee in downtown Marietta.
