Free Thanksgiving Dinners Around the Valley

The Salvation Army in Parkersburg is serving its Thanksgiving meal starting at noon and they'll stay open as long there's food to serve.

The Parkersburg First Christian Church is open starting at noon for a hot meal.

Fairlawn Baptist Church is sponsoring a dinner from noon to 2 pm.

The Norwood United Methodist Church in Marietta will serve food from noon to 2 pm. To reserve a dinner or have one delivered call the church at 740-374-5606 or email

In Reno, the Cornerstone Ministries and Emergency Homeless Shelter is giving out a meal from 11 am to 1 pm. If you want to volunteer or won't be able to make the dinner in person and need a meal delivered call 740-374-5381.

The Waverly Volunteer Fire Department is open to the public starting at noon for its Thanksgiving feast.

Wayside United Methodist Church in Vienna is hosting a turkey dinner from 11 am to 1 pm.

In Williamstown the American Legion is opening its doors for the eighth year and serving up Thanksgiving dinner for free from 1 to 4 in the afternoon. For home deliveries call 304-375-5997 after 3 p.m. Wednesday or Thursday before 1 in the afternoon.

Lowell United Methodist Church will have its Thanksgiving feast from 11 am to 12:30pm.
