Green twp. Gallia County - Gallia deputies arrested Thomas M. Pennington Jr., age 38 of Alice Road Vinton, Ohio and charged him with illegal manufacturing of drugs.
Pennington was arrested at a home at 2767 St. Rt. 588 in Green twp. After deputies responded to a tip of a wanted subject making meth at the home.
The responding deputy's report stated: "We completed searching the room and located a dawn dishwashing liquid bottle with a clear substance inside. The substance contained small black floating
pieces consistent with lithium metal from my training and experience. The liquid was placed onto a piece of cardboard and soaked into it, indicating it was a solvent. The piece of cardboard was then placed into a field test kit for methamphetamine and tested positive."
Pennington also had outstanding warrants from Meigs County, Ohio
