If you've visited a gas station lately, you've probably left with a heavy tank and a lighter wallet. Gas prices continue to rise across the nation and that's making life tough on residents right here in the Mid-Ohio Valley.
WTAP caught up with a few local motorists this afternoon to hear their reaction to the prices at the pump.
"Oh, it's ridiculous. It's getting too high to operate vehicles. We're in the manufacturing industry and diesel is really, really ridiculous right now," says Jeremy Boyle. "We transport steel and things like that and it's horrible."
The average national price for a gallon of regular gas is $3.84-- .03 higher than this time last week-- and almost a dollar more than at the same time last year.
