Habitat for Humanity is asking for you to donate to its ReStore as you do your spring cleaning around the house.

They're kicking off their spring cleaning drive next Monday and are encouraging area rseidents to bring in donations or even call the store to have items picked up during the last two weeks in April.

Something new Habitat is doing this year in addition to the spring cleaning drive is planning neighborhood pick-ups.

if you can arrange it where you live, Habitat will send their truck right over.

Just about any household item, new and gently used, is what Habitat is looking for.

"Basically anything has that has a resale value, except for clothing and soft goods," says Alvin Phillips, Executive Director of Wood County Habitat for Humanity. "Furniture goes really well, cabinets go really well and working appliances. So those are probably our three top sellers."

All of the money made at ReStore goes directly towards building new homes in Wood County.
